@jankastbjerg40174 жыл бұрын
@@IloveGorgeousGeorge robotics and electronics are not that complicated in generel, it's just freakishly huge subjects, so if you wanna study those things, you need to find a starting point, and dont take on more than you can plausible study. what many do wrong (my self included, before i started in school as an electronics engineering), is they start at a to complicated level, for example, if you wanna know how robots move, start brushing up on your physics, after that you can learn about basic mechanics, or maybe basic programming in python or C, and then just keep building upon what you have learned. but always start at the fundamentals, since many times if you miss one thing in the fundemental understanding, it can snowball exponential, which would mean that although you understood the first few concept, the rest can quickly become mumbo jumbo :) and the most important thing... patience! as i said, these subjects are huge, and the people working in theese fields have been studying for years uon years, and usually have a good understanding all around , while being experts in 1 or 2 specific fields, like emc, fpga programming, mechanical movements and so on, which is the reason for it being teams working on a project and not just 1 or 2 dudes in the proffesional enviroments ^^

Joanna Craddy artificial means made by humans (not occurring naturally). Biological just means related to biology/living organisms. In this case, it’s probably organic chemistry. So an artificial biological life form is a life form made up of organic compounds designed by human hands (thus, not naturally occurring in nature). “What about test tube babies?” You might ask, “they aren’t naturally occurring, so technically they’re artificial?” Well, they’re considered artificially inseminated bc they still need to be birthed by a mother and go through the human life cycle. The only artificial process there is when the eggs are manually activated. Hope this helps.

18:20 Is it that old movies were good at predicting robotics? ...Or were future roboticists inspired to go into robotics by watching those movies?
@JamesMichaelDoyle4 жыл бұрын
no, Hollywood used to make more efforts to put out good products. there are some modern exceptions that take the time and care to get science stuff accurate and consistent, but they are not the norm anymore.

Probably a bit of both! I think they both feed off one another.

@Jackie Tearie I watched a show several years ago that specifically talked about the science that Star Trek inspired. Just wish I could remember the name of it.

Just watched another episodes with Chris in it. I ❤️ him. I just want to hug him. He is like a super cool grandpa. I would love to take his class repeatedly. Wish he had a YT channel where he just talked about whatever he wanted. I would watch him every day.
