@seeker2963 жыл бұрын
actually you can't even prove that you yourself are conscious. you can only "observe" "your own" "experiences", which is a type of self-awareness possibly, but it's impossible to say how complete that awareness is or what criteria it would have to meet in order to qualify as consciousness. I think getting rid of the hard categories and thinking more in spectrums is a step in the right direction.

This is so true. It's very much near impossible to know precisely if your or someone's feelings are real. Doesn't even relate to the trust you place on the person when you know you can even lie to yourself into believing you do feel such things, therefore it's impossible for you to tell yourself or anyone that you're not really in love. You can just tell whether the person is committed to show it to you or not, depending on the kind of bond you have and your personnalities. There's no need to be afraid of it though, it's just natural. And it doesn't really matter anyways since even if it's not true you'd still have shown your affection and recieved some in a healthy relationship, that helps and feels good, and that just happened to end at some point. It's how life goes.

@@julian5857 this comment is obviously a joke but we obviously computers don't need to talk in human language. Alexa and others like it do that for our convenience, when you ask Alexa for weather reports, she doesn't say hey Google search up the weather results, there code for that and computer programs exchange that code (information) there dont have to use English or any other language we understand. But yes communication is a requirement for any exchange of information.

@@ezrascarlet5935 but in the star wars universe they absolutely would have to speak to each other as each droid is individually programmed and they dont share any networks; hence, R2 had to deliver a physical drive to obiwan containing the holomessage bc the movies were made prior to public knowledge of the internet since it was still DARPAnet and a defense project
@ezrascarlet59353 жыл бұрын
@@CrowGamingVideos the whole point of the video is; this is how it works in reality vs movies, cause in movies I can make up whatever ever rules I want. you had interstellar space-time travel in star wars but still required a droid act as a physical to Obi-Wan in person doesn't = not having networks that the droids can communicate over in the star was the universe. And also we are comparing droids speaking to other droids why are you referencing a droid talking to a human? cause the droid would need to give the information to a human in a way they understand. machines have compilers that can break down individual programmed source code into universal machine language. so what language you make a machine is irrelevant, because with the right compiler it turns into 0's and 1's.
