I think the bin output a difference voltage rating between the i7 and e5

@@RobotMasters u can try it with voltmeter, but if e5 can search i7+'s base, i mean it is the same. By the way all Roombas has the same charging power. 22.2v dc, 1,5 amp.

RoboVacCollector yes, 600, 800, and 900 series and later uses lithium ion battery. However, they might not all have the same voltage.

Robot Masters they replaced the unit, but right out of the box it started to give me that error!! It was disappointing because I even paid for premium delivery and the unit was defective right out of the box

I believe the e5 is being sold on iRobot website, as well as the 960. The 960 came right before the i7 and iRobot added WiFi to their random navigating robot e5/e6

Can you put the i7 dustbin on the e5 and have it use the self emptying bin since the i7 empties it self whenever it goes to doc with the bin being full

keagan !! It’s because 500, 600, 700, 800, and 900 series uses the same dock. I’m not sure if I and E series uses the same dock, but I’m sure that the self emptying base is not compatible with e5.

I don’t think so because the e5 won’t recognize the infrared frequency that the self emptying bin emits to help the i7 line up. I will do a test on this and to see if the bind and charging docks are interchangeable.

Brock Schreiber Ok so how I got companies to reach out to send products for free in exchange for a review, is I built a KZbin channel focused on a specific Niche. My Topic is Robot Vacuums which I originally was going to expand my channel to cover other robots categories. Anyways, the channel was created less than a year ago but the actual KZbin account is very old. Once you have established a good audience, video topic eventually companies will reach out to you. You don’t necessarily need thousands of subscribers to get noticed. I know there are some websites that may send products for free in exchange for a review, just google them. Here’s something to try: Try sucking up stuff like toilet paper, coins, legos, sticky notes, beads, yarn, etc. and see if the robots will pick them up

E5 or e6 what is the difference? We want more sparkles back in the videos 👍. Wow looks like irobot stole everything for S9 not just shape but bin as well and it calls shark thieves😝. Has irobot ever had a vacumm with center bin?

Technically they are the same robot, e6 comes with an accessory box that has two lighthouse, AA batteries, extra high performance filter and side brush. The e5 cheaper but doesn't come with any additional accessories.
