Loved the SNES rpgs, they don't make them like that anymore. Unfortunately, I could never get into this one. Just seems too basic, and I wasn't a fan of the limited movement on the world map. Very linear.

it would have been much better with action rpg elements. those encounters, become quite annoying after a while

you also gotta remember at the time for an rpg, that WAS a lot of action elements in combat - moving around the playfield, etc. that being said yeah the game does feel a little underbaked in regards to part of the experience i still love this game, though
