This is my favourite painted style and the best tutorial I have seen for deathwatch, your skills have helped me immensely. Thank you!

I love the new style of videos as it is easier to understand.

Good camera work. I've watched a few other channels were the models not in focus, but here I can clearly see.

Thank you for the videos. Love the style and the fluidity of using different techniques to modify the method you are painting a specific model. (Something I am working on myself, keep getting trapped in the way I used to do it instead of experimenting with new ways.)

It seems like that Nuln Oil is crucial to getting it right.

So another quick question I am in the middle of a competition in my local gw and I am painting a grey seer so the question is how should I do the grey fur and warpstone?
@RobPaintsModels6 жыл бұрын
For the warpstone I'm going to point you to my Custodes video; specifically the bit where I paint the blade of the Guardian spear. If you go with green/yellow colours for the highlights rather than the turquoise you should get a pretty good warpstone effect. I will be covering both of these topics though in the Spiteclaws Swarm video that will be coming up (probably, it's winning the poll on Patreon right now) in August.

What brush are you using for the eye-lenses?
@RobPaintsModels6 жыл бұрын
That will be a Winsor & Newton Series 7 Size 1. They are pretty hard to get hold of these days so you could try a Rosemary & Co Series 33 Size 1 as they are very close in size and just as well made (and cheaper).

RobPaintsModels Really that was a W&N Size 1? I saw that in your video description but I didn't realize how thin it actually was. Thank you! Also, how do you get your brushes to get a fine tip? I still cannot master that and so my eye lenses always end up looking awful.
