You should taste normal 40% or 50% alkohol Polish fruit vodka. In Poland, fruit vodka is actually called "nalewka" like a liqueur. Because most often Poles drink pure strong vodka 40% - 50% alc. which itself has different flavors (cereal, potato, etc.) I also recommend homemade vodkas, which are even stronger than pure vodka, because they usually have 50% - 70% alc. but they are better tasting. We call it homemade vodka as "bimber".

Did you know that Soplica, next to the name of the alcohol, is the name of one of the characters in one of the most important books in Polish literature? Initially, this antagonist had a negative character, later it was an act of penance and he became a priest, and the film "There is also a song, a song he sings" by Grzegorz Turnau and Stanisław Sojka was based on this literary work. The text of the Book is written in Old Polish and contains rhymes.

Haha , Rob I love your reaction to rugby league videos as it shows an impartial view on rugby from a football ref, which is refreshing and very respectful. This however made me laugh as I'm currently drinking a bottle of Soplica cherry and chocolate which is lush.

Whole bottle is a one shot. I am impressed how you menage to pour 2 glass shots out of it. Fun fact - this type of wódka in poland is called "Małpka", which means tiny monkey, dont ask me why.

That's not peach. "Pigwa" is quince. Quite popular fruit(?) plant for home-made liquors.

I'm proud of you because you drank about 0.5 liters of vodka standing in front of the camera in several minutes without eating snacks 😂 welcome to Poland! 😀 great channel 👌

We say a lot of sentense when we are drinking like: - na drugą nożkę (for other leg - first shot was on the first leg) - smacznego (enjoy your meal / also enjoy) - po szklanie i na rusztowanie ( across the glass and onto the scaffolding) etc, etc xD

"Morela" means apricot. EDIT: "na zdrowie!"- literally: for good health= cheers! "do dna!" - literally: to the bottom= bottoms up! and less popular, or used between friends: "Zdrowie twoje w gardło moje!" Your health is in my throat! "Wódka grzeje, wódka chłodzi, wódka nigdy nie zaszkodzi." Vodka warms, vodka cools, vodka will never hurt. "Wódka lepsza jest od chleba, bo jej gryźć nie potrzeba." Vodka is better than bread because you don't need to chew it.
