"A pear on a wilow" is often used to describe empty promises. If he promised me "pear on a willow" it means they promised me the moon, something that doesn't have any chance to be kept.

9:25 - "Blind leading the deaf" - fun fact: in Poland we have a little different saying similar to that which translates to "blind leading the badger-legged/limping man" but in both cases, the second guy would not need the help of blind one.

Probably they took idea from one of bank robberies that took place in... late 20's? But that one was almost succesful. Almost cos later they were caught. Ps: there is polish movie "Halo Szpicbródka" (a musical) that refers to that. Ps2: there is also comedy movie "Vabank" that is about bank robbery in "between wars" time. Briliant one, Kind of polish "The Sting".

In your eyes I see your beautiful but lost soul,(that's why you quite often say, joke that you're lost,it comes out of the superconscious:)☺Goodnight (Wielka Brytania is strong enough and has the financial resources to cope with such a brexit )don't worry...,it can handle it.(these financial penalties won't hurt it much) remember that the most important thing is freedom No one is ordering you to do anything(we Poles don't like very much when someone is ordering us to do something, but this is due to our history) Look, ,russia I hate so much for what it was doing to Poland for many centuries, germans the same...............France I dont like because they are cowards and traitors.... and the Great Britain ,,,despite the fact that also was unfair towards Poland, somehow cannot hate, not even a little...why..why???I dont know interesting, huh? okay goodnight

The difference between a leap year and a criminal year (przestępny i przestępczy) is like the difference between a coke and a coco(nut) (koks i kokos). The difference and meaning are explained in the first years of school. This is nothing exceptional - there are always a handful of words in the world that sound close.

Bullshit. Sure, ZUS isn’t perfect, but it was established during the Second Polish Republic and survived the war. Without ZUS, you’d have the same situation as in the United States.
