Next time you are in Poland, you must try malaga, tikitaki and kasztanki chocolates. These traditional Polish sweets were created in the 1960s. Unfortunately, today have lost a lot of their quality. Other traditional Polish sweets: Irys, torcik wedlowski, kukułki, raczki, pawełek, śliwka nałęczowska, draże korsarze, pastylka miętowa. Personally, I don't like some of them very much.😉

Ptasie mleczko's "A ty od której ścianki zaczynasz?" means "And which one wall do you start with?" That's because almost no one just bites it but takes off the chocolate walls so just the marshmallow stays. Maybe that's because it is just satysfying.

Ale nie jestem pewna. Jestem fanka wszystkich profuktow Krakusa. Slodkich i tych nieslodkich jak ogorki😆 Ten sękacz to bardzo stary batonik. Osobiscie go nie lubie. Jest tani i smakuje tanio. Istnieje ciasto ktore nazywa sie sękacz od ktorego ten batonik wzial swoja nazwe. Proponuje wam go poszukac. Jest dosyc nietypowy, bardzo zbity i swietny do herbaty.

I think that next time you should buy sękacz in Poland. It's difficult to actually say what's that. It's like a cake but at the same time it's not. It's the best with milk or coffee
@yakeosicki89657 ай бұрын
Sweets made according to old recipes contain alcohol, especially chocolate. Amaretto is also an alcohol-based liqueur. I hate chocolate made according to modern recipes with a million chemical additives, enhancers and a ton of sugar. Traditionally, sękacz is an egg-based cake. The consistency of the dough is semi-pourable. This dough is poured over the core over the spit. The cake is made of dozens of layers baked over a fire. The original sękacz is popular in north-eastern Poland and Lithuania.

As far as I remember, Wawel and Wedel are not Polish producers anymore. Foreign owners spoiled their flavours a bit. Sweets from Wedel and Wawel I remeber as a child were really tasty, fruity. Today it's just sugar with a bit of fruity taste and smell... Try real ptasie mleczko - a cold dessert on sponge cake, made of milk mousse with fruity jelly on top. Delicious! PS. Rob, your pronunciation of Polish words is impressive :) (I'm an ex-Polish teacher, so...)

@@anonsenseYou're talking about two different things. There's sękacz - the traditional cake and sękacz - a type of wafer bar, and neither of them is a recent invention.
