Diane and Vic are pieces of work all smiles while it’s Liv and Aaron are actually the ONLY ones worried for Robert. Liv doesn’t want it taken out on Robert and Aaron can’t imagine him not being there. The other two, let’s just not think about it. The Sugdens are truly gone after Robert exits.

Diane and Vic are so casual (and Diane so cheerful) about the possibility of losing Robert to a life in prison. And this revelation about the severity of the charge he's facing shouldn't have had the distraction of Liv having a seizure. The focus should have been on Robert and how it would effect those around him. Except in Vic and Diane's case it would seem not very much at all!!

I think they are hoping for a lesser sentence. Lee didn’t die, it would be kind of extreme to give Robert a life sentence.

luc thin But Robert is still facing the prospect of a long term of imprisonment and Vic is like: Eh, let's not think about it! And instead of trying to offer words of comfort to Robert when he told them, Diane was outside comforting Vic -- who was worried about herself, not Robert!

@@magloyd4907 There are phrase about not worry about tomorrow because today has enough trouble of its own... whatever outcome Robert will get nobody knows yet so they shouldn't place their worry on that yet. If you watch a previous clip, you see Vic storming out of the room with anger and frustration which was her first reaction. Now she is trying not to think about it.
