I love when you catch my favorite 😍 fish❤ 🐠. That’s a beautiful baby Oscar, can’t wait to follow his/her growth. I wish I could do what you do, but I live in NY. So I have to settled to live vicariously through you and I’m fine with that. Love your videos as for camera girl, I agree she seems like a keeper.
@jtlynn192811 ай бұрын
Rob, I SAY THIS WITH RESPECT. ❤ YOU HAVE TO let camera girl know to STOP switching , zooming so quickly. A WIDE shot of you telling about what you are adding to the tanks, stop, then start to film you adding the fish at a wider angle. IT TAKES TIME to get the hang of it ! CAMERA GIRL. WE LOVE you, baby!! KEEP UP THE HARD WORK * KEEP SCHOOLIN ROB!😂❤

Rob, you can get a plastic life size hawk to act as a scarecrow. They make owls and hawks, and you can get robotic ones that turn their heads. You have to move them at night, every couple days so real animals dont get used to it. Theyre pretty cheap too, so it might be a good option for protecting your fish.

The only way to harvest hoplo catfish in Florida is by cast net. As long as you are in an area that allows cast netting, you may harvest hoplo. They are not technically an invasive species, but they are classified as an introduced species which I believe means that FWC brought them into the environment. Great video as always

I had to build some wire mesh tops for my outdoor ponds/tanks. Between the raccoons and king fishers my fish were getting snipped too. Just build some 2x4 frames that drop over the top of the tanks and staple 1/2 inch galvanized hardware mesh to the tops. Keeps the unwanted visitors out!

Whenever you go to this spot bring some honey and set it out for the bees. Bees have face recognition and they'll remember you as a good person who brings food for them. The African killer bees are just evil but these are just sweet honey bees 🐝 and don't want to attack you.

@mikepanek73611 ай бұрын
You need to put an eagle decoy near your tanks outside. As long as you move it around it will keep those birds from eating your fish. If you leave it in the same spot they’ll catch on that it’s not a threat.

Bees make honey as well as being a major pollinator. There's nothing to be scared about if one lands on you, they rarely sting unless attacked. All worker bees, the ones we see out and about are female. I'd be more worried about the sketchy people talk about around the Everglades !
