Lead guitarist (for this album only) was Nick Perri, older brother of singer-songwriter Christina Perri, best known for A Thousand Years. Interestingly, Shinedown songs dealt a lot with mental illness and so does Christina, who herself has been in therapy for clinical depression since she was 8. She couldn't be further away musically but her songs about mental health, Human, I Believe, Tiny Victories and Mothers are low-volume, high-emotional impact.
