I agree! Thanks to both of you for reacting to I WISH from a brilliant songwriter and artist. Even those who cover his songs get bathed in his genius. Speaking of which, do you know what I wish? I wish you would react to the energetic and rockin' cover of Stevie Wonder's song HIGHER GROUND, as performed by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I think you would both really enjoy it. When you do it, please react to their official music video. So fun! Btw-the bass is killin' it in that song!

Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life" is one of the greatest albums of all time as recognized by Rolling Stone Magazine, Billboard, and a variety of other music experts. There are a multitude of iconic songs on this album. This entire album is worth listening to not just as an iconic sound of the 70s but also as one of the most important albums that inspired many artists and whose impact is still felt today.

Not only did "Wild Wild West" sample this, but Stevie's in the video with Will! For my money, the five albums Stevie recorded between Music of My Mind and this Songs in the Key of Life are up there with the greatest continuous musical output of any artist ever. Maybe only The Beatles from Revolver to Abbey Road can equal him.

This, along with "Superstition", are my favorite Stevie Wonder songs. The instrumentation is bonkers, the story is so relatable, and it's just plain fun to jam to. What more can you want? And yes, Will Smith did sample this song for "Wild Wild West", which was featured in the movie of the same name that starred him. It also sampled "Wild Wild West", the 1988 rap song by Kool Moe Dee. If I had to nominate your next Stevie song, I would recommend one of his minor hits in the 80s, "Go Home". It's been one of my dark horse favorites that I always seem to return to when I'm in a Stevie mood.

This song absolutely GROOVES. It’s my favorite Stevie Wonder song. I remember, as a boy, begging my mother to buy me the album Talking Book because I had heard the song Superstition on the radio. She relented after my persistence though she seemed to think my demand was unusual for a white boy from the suburbs. I practically wore the grooves off that album. A few years later my older sister told me Songs In The Key Of Life was recently released (or dropped in today’s parlance) and that I might be interested. I immediately purchased it with my own money earned from delivering newspapers. I was NOT disappointed. It’s a classic. Stevie’s masterpiece.

Stevie Wonder is in the "Wild Wild West" music video and is also on the performance Will did on the MTV Awards. Will was originally a rapper, not an actor, in the group DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. That's where the later sitcom title came from. Fresh Prince was kinda originally known for comedy rap, but not all of their songs were like that. Stevie produced an early rap song from 1983 called "The Crown" by Gary Byrd. Stevie does a little rapping himself on the long version of his 1982 song "Do I Do". Maybe y'all should react to "Fingertips", when he was called Little Stevie Wonder. The live version (not the studio version) was his first hit.

My old album & cassette plus currently my cd & mp3 collections have always included Mr. Wonder's Talking Book and Songs in the Key of Life albums. His music has been in my possession for 50 years. Thank you Stevie Wonder. ❤

Me too. Ever since I was 5 years old. I'm 55. Thanks to being the youngest of 5 and 8-17 years behind them. This is my favourite Stevie Wonder song. I'm a sax player and musician. I have this CD in my car and tribute albums of over musicians performing their interpretations of his work. This album is a masterpiece. I was fortunate to meet him while at university and attend his concerts later that day. It ranks as the only concert I left early. I sadly had to leave because I had an exam at 8AM and a concert that began at 8PM was still going at 3AM! It was epic! He had a full band with horns, background singers, percussionists, and dancers, especially for the song "As" which was the last song I saw. I had front row seats for it. This was when "Part Time Lover" and "Overjoyed" were popular. There was no internet, of course, so I camped out for 16 hours for tickets.

It took Stevie Wonder 2.5 years to compose and complete recording Songs in the Key of Life in the studio. Stevie's Song in the Key of Life and Marvin Gayes What's Goin On are two of my all-time favorite albums.

Stevie Wonder is a very deep rabbit hole, seemingly endless variety of grade A music. He is one those rare, top shelf musicians. One of a kind. Genius.

I’m new to reaction videos. Listened to many people, however yours are the best by far!! We are in our middle 70s and a lot of the songs you do are from our youth. My husband had several bands in the 60s&70s, recorded several records. You are the one we choose to follow! Thank you so much!!

Everything about that song is so fire, but truly, for me, it is the bass line that just absolutely slays me.
