Yeah, that was just salt and hurt pride talking. Trash talking is part of the game, even if it gets heated, but threatening to get physical just cuz someone's calling you out is pretty weak imo. Beating someone up physically ain't gonna do anything about the skill/experience gap, it's a victory that wouldn't mean anything inside the game, which is both of their livelihoods, so it'd be kinda self-sabotaging. Strider must have just been wound up cuz if Punk was complaining about the same thing that he and other players were complaining about then it is indeed dumb for Strider to say Punk is making excuses when it's a valid statement. It's especially silly that Strider is saying that winning tourney's doesn't matter, when in fact that's what this esports is all about, professionally speaking. Also, we all know Punk can be antagonistic, but this really isn't a good look for either of them.
