I really like this series. Came out around the time I was born. Love the period setting. A good clean scare with no gore. Wish they had stuff like this nowdays

This is a really great one of the time. Plenty of suspense . Back in my youth there was a series called Chiller. It came on about 11:00 pm on Saturday night. It had Frankenstein and the werewolf and many like movies. This series really fills the bill. Thanks for showing them.

The movie The Premature Burial, with Ray Milland and Hazel Court. That was a great movie too. Saw it at an all night drive inn movie (The Twilight) back in the 60s. All night horror movies at the drive inns on long weekends great fun.

Ok I got it figured out, you need to re watch from 27:55 when Boris quizzes the wife. He knows shes a gold digger. The Boy friend @ 38: assumptions were correct but Boris walking in shut that line of think down. Boris at the end says she and the boyfriend murdered Edward by torture which he could not prove, even with the death mask showing he was alive when buried. So Boris and the doc tortured them so as to expose them.

The actor who played Edward I believe that played the old gentleman in the horror film Rosemary's Baby also the actor is so I've never heard of her playing the infamous victorine the actor certainly gave and gave brilliant episode but a fantastic story as well by the infamous Edgar Allan Poe

I guess I don't get the ending. We all saw him die out there in that field with his wife there after he shot that deer. Yes, she took him horseback riding and hunting when Thornton told her not to and yes, she took the medals and hid them under the stone, But that's not "murder". He overexerted himself, fell down and died.. If a conclusion that she murdered him is the idea for what happened and she stood accused at the ending then that all seems a little weak in the plot. I'm really confused about the ending on this one.

He had another seizure she removed the bracelets etc so he was assumed dead. He did die in the coffin in Canada.. why Dr thorn said he died in torture .

Actually, his performance as the monster in “Frankenstein” is widely considered to be a superb, subtle, and nuanced performance. I am an actor myself and his performance is worthy of study. If his performance in this seems over the top let’s not forget the era -many actors had a stagier quality to their work
