Robusta Coffee tasting (Xicoteped Zoquitlam . Puebla)

Real coffee. Full bodied flavor. Has tones of smokey bitter sweet dark chocolate and hot asphalt. ..Things burning.. Heavy like a 1960's full sized car.
Satisfying. Has a spicy pine or juniper moment. The last half of the cup mellows out a little and gets the dark bittersweet chocolate and creamy after tone.
It does pack some caffeine. Like a little cup of adrenaline. I could drive to the moon!
I heard it described as tasting like rubber.
I would agree it tastes a little like burning rubber. Burning leather,. Burning furniture..It has a heavy flavor profile for sure.
I ordered a dark roast and it is dark but not as dark as my Arabica roasts. It makes a dark thick brew in my humble maker. Like ink or paint. Coffee usually makes a brown stain. This stuff will probably make a black stain.
It's something to look forward to for sure. I can understand why most people probably would not pick this as an every day coffee. I kind of like it. I will order this again. I have a mixed blend grinding now. Maybe it will smooth it out a little. But I don't mind it straight.
