Rob do you find slapping makes your pole joints work loose … it may just be I have an older pole 👍

Some brands have issues with that.... I check my sections every now and then and rarely have any problems

Great video. You didn’t say why you use full length top kits over shorter kits, would be interested to know.
@RobWootton2 жыл бұрын
The kits I use are a length inbetween full kits and short kits, they’re called ultra control kits, I like them

Great vid. I watched it with my Mrs and I asked if she was a slapper and she said ‘I BLOODY AM NOT!’ But she did agree that 0.22 was the way to go to keep the stiffness. 😝😝😝

Rob … can you tell when casters go off … I’m never sure if they go sour and put off or not
@RobWootton2 жыл бұрын
For silvers I like the freshest bait possible but for summer carp quantity is more important...... as long as the smell doesnt make me feel sick I’m happy to blast them in

Great video as usual Rob. What determines the depth you started at? 🎣🎣👍
@PDano20072 жыл бұрын
Normally have a few rigs set up mate and just either start at like 2ft and work ure way upwards till you get constant bites
@tonyhatton17522 жыл бұрын
@@PDano2007 cheers Paul. Just started fishing shallow but really struggling. 12, 18 and 24 inch rigs but nothing. I know you have to keep feeding but it's hard to stick at it when others around you are catching on other methods. Cheers Paul. 🎣🎣👍
