Hey All! I hope you enjoy this Saturdays Gelli Printing session on the large Gel Plate....I really enjoy the freedom and creativity that is unlocked working with more space. I use a lot of ‪@SethApter‬ Izinks and also a recent favorite ‪@krinknyc‬ paint marker!

Robyn I am so sorry to hear about your father--I could hear the grief in your voice as you were talking about it. Thanks for being real. I am glad you are giving yourself at least a couple of weeks to go and be with your family and deal with the affairs that come with such a loss. Thank you also for this lovely large scale gelli printing session. The results were all beautiful, although somehow I think your ghost print one ended up being my favorite. first of all, i'm so sorry for your loss. thank you for taking time to share this part of your life with us and i hope that making this video today helped you feel a sense of normalcy in the strange and difficult place you must be in. i'm glad you have family and community to support you in this time. second - you are so right about the large plate being a little more difficult to use (and a little more expensive to acquire). my first gel plate was the big one and it's been surprising how different a small plate works once i got one! i haven't broken out my big plate and good paper in awhile so it was nice to do that with you today :) the prints you made turned out so beautiful. i love the sunset feeling of the second one (third when you showed them all at the end).thanks for taking the time to print with us today.

Weird how we ail know we will probably go through it no one is truly prepared for the loss of a parent no matter how long we have to prepare. Odd how just when you think you have your mind wrapped around it something will snap you back.
