If we get Pickett, we'll have the best secondary in college football. Get Haywood, and we could move Evan Link to guard with Babalola at the other tackle, Strayhorn at center. That just leaves a guard position open that we could fill with a player we already have.

I'm thinking either Sloan from LSU or Dan Mullin. Sloan is said to be next in line for the ECU HC job, but he could make more as an OC a much higher profile football program. Mullin is a former HC and currently a TV commentator. He might be pricey, but money isn't an issue for Michigan.

If we can pull Elite WR Derek Meadows, 5 star OT Ty Haywood from Bama for pulling Ivan Taylor away, along with 5 stars DT Jakeem Stewart and CB DJ Pickett it's not going to be anything nice. Kelly complained that Notre Dame was not getting the recruits he wanted because of extraneous circumstances presumably the religious environment and academic standards. So Kelly got his recruiting engine going at LSU and he continues to throw his players under the bus.

With underwood coming in I’m hoping we’re able to keep some guys that would want to go the draft. Loveland for example if he’s not guaranteed first round he should come back, same with anyone on the D line who isn’t a first round lock.

@@pbmc_ out of all of our potential first round guys, Stewart, Will Johnson, Loveland, Graham, and Grant, if they’re not going first round I guarantee they will make more money coming back for a year. The only 2 I think you can guarantee going in first round are Will Johnson and Mason Graham, the other 3 are only potentially.

Moore made a mistake not getting a QB in the transfer portal to at least give him a guy who had some experience. If they went and got McCord they’d probably only have 2 loses right now. Moore and our personnel department is correcting that mistake with Underwood. You will see Michigan return to prominence now.
