Just got mine today and I love it. Looks amazing, lighting is awesome especially the intelligent effect which reacts to key presses, keys feel nice and sound nice. The amazing thing though is how responsive it is. I've had blue switches then reds and then found my jam with browns but I really like the linear feel on this keyboard. Genuinely impressed and I've had every keyboard going

Now even though I wanted a very fast keyboard the force for the razer huntsman wasn't comfortable for me and the apex pro felt cheap in my opinion so I decided to get the vulcan because of the speed and feeling

Why do people complain about the cable being on the right? If it is and you are using a coiled cable, why don't you just flip the cable since it's a type C connector? I mean isn't it the same as having it on the left then? IMO I think middle is the worst.

I just watched it again because I was thinking about getting a custom keyboard and needed a sound test on video so I could compare. Thanks for the review. There is still not Vulcan PRO in my country, and i can`t decide either to wait for it or to get Vulcan 121 with linear switches. Is it a big difference between 121 and PRO, in terms of speed? Main difference is the switches, and i don`t know if its even worth it to wait and give + more just for the switches. Whats your take ?

How do you pull off the keycaps? I have tried, but just can't get them off. It feels like I am going to break the keyboard if I pull any harder than I do, but I tend to be quite gentle with tech.

Did you get your key caps off without breakage? I tried to remove the right arrow key but I was pulling with fingers and not a key puller. I gave up before I applied way too much pressure.

@@SpaceCadet4Jesus Yes, I don't have a keycap puller, but I used a piece of string to make a makeshift one. The keycaps are really hard to get off the first time, but nothing broke as long as I pulled firmly and wiggled a little. Edit: A good tip is to start with a key you never use, like the END key or one close to that.

awesome, just ordered this. £110 in the UK right now. my Razer Black WidowTournament Chroma was nice for a couple years but the keys kept popping off, then the W key had to be replaced, then my space bar broke. I look after it but these razor keys/switches are really bad.

Hey man, what flagship optical keyboard would you choose? The k100, this, or the huntsman elite/ mini, or the gk61? Personally, I like the k100 and the gk 61, but this may replace the k100 if it is good enough.

Well I wouldn't pick the K100 because it's too big. But... I'm not sure . I like them all for different reasons. The Apex Pro I like the novelties but I hate the keycaps, the Huntsman just feels kinda cheap. And I think the Vulcan is the most balanced of the three and it has detachable usb-C so.... Imma say the Vulcan😀

I bought a Roccat Vulccan AIMO 100 about 2 years ago. The W key started intermittently failing and now the ALT key doesn't work at all. There's no possible way I pushed ALT over 50 million times so buyer beware for the long term with these keyboards. I love them when they are brand new, but the durability just isn't there.

I’d go for apex pro tkl, I did and everything added together with what I want from gaming it sways more towards the apex, and you have the same performance on it ie actuation & feel when you customise the stock key caps with puddings or the new Phantom keycaps from razor, which makes this keyboard so fucking nice man, you won’t be disappointed

Anyone with the tkl pro here? i got the standard vulcan 122 atm but having some keying issues such as some keys are skipping or not registering or sometimes double keying. I belive this is down to swarm or windows however but idk for sure. was wandering if its worth getting this sincei was looking at a tkl anyway

I had the same issue and contacted Roccat and they told me "unfortunately, this indicates a malfunction of the switches under the affected buttons" so unfortunately I was past the 1 year warranty so the keyboard ended up in the trash. THAT is why they need to make these and all gaming keyboards have hot swappable buttons.
