It will make much more sense after her companion quest, but in short it was about her affection to the crew. One for all, all for one. During the 2.0 main story you seen her picking up the pebble from the ground as a reminder of the person that lost it's life. She would sacrifice herself for anyone from the fools and they all would do the same for her.

It feels like a dramatization of Roccia's Banishment. Starts with Roccia being in plays, the paintings showing the various plays she's performed. The Paintings attacking goes with the line "All you once had made is proof now of your crime" to show the Order using their plays as evidence of their group's heresy to send them on "pilgrimage." The people fading being how she lost several close to her to Penitent's End. Roccia's own fading being her losing hope until she's saved by Pero. The voices of Brant et al. being her finding/joining the Fool's Troupe.

I don't get why people don't realize that it's basically her past, being placed in a theater play as her showcase, which is very fitting. It seemed pretty obvious to me....

@@rayzen119 It's fairly easy to assume that the events play out in the present, with only the Penitent's End portion acting as a flashback. Especially so when she returns to doing theater at the end. I agree it's very fitting that a theater-based character has a lot of metaphor/symbolism in their trailer, but that's also directly why it has so much potential to be missed.

@@poplo9094 well, anyone who did the story should know by now that she was outcasted by the church, they should be able to put 2 and 2 together, to see how it started and where it ended on the shore where she was saved(she may have gained her resonance ability there, maybe her character story will confirm/deny that). 😅 The end just implies that she put on a performance to show her life up to now... to present herself to us. At least that's how i saw it.

​@@rayzen119 I watched some streams, a lot of people missed the part where you can ask Roccia how she got banished (Roccia was at the bottom so they didn't see her) so it's not surprising how people didn't connect this trailer to her past. I would have honestly missed it too if it wasn't for Brant talking about his past, I just figured that Roccia might also talk about her past at the same time so I look around to find where she is.

Roccia is Havoc Mega buffer. Similar to Zhezhi for Glacio. If you are in love with Havoc teams Roccia is your premium pick. If you love to cover more ground in terms of elements, Skip.

Also she has a pretty big basic atack buff in adition to the havoc so she also double buffs Camelia.

As our resident Kuro bot Saintontas points out, Sanhua provides near equivalent damage buff as a four star (if you've gotten her at C6). Sanhua provides not element specific 38% basic attack and will provide +208 attack bonus to Camellya if you've got C6. The trade off is on field damage and rotations. Roccia will do more damage herself but wants to be on the field more, Sanhua can get off the field providing an outro buff in 3-4 seconds. Sanhua also needs little to no investment in skills or echos because outro skill buffs are full power from the moment you get a character.

@@Kyle_116 I think Roccia is something like ~10% better overall dps for the team over Sanhua C6, but for most people that's probably just not good enough to justify pulling for her, sadly. I think she's adorable and I really liked her gameplay in the story, but I just can't justify pulling for her over the myriad of other 2.x characters that I think will be far more valuable/fun. Also, Sanhua's C5 is her most important I believe, as it has a hidden buff of doubling the concerto she generates from detonating her icicles. I only found this out due to a youtube video (by Maygi, IIRC) that explicitly mentioned it does that effect. I recently got Sanhua's C5 and immediately noticed that I actually fill her concerto with Intro > Skill > Liberation > Heavy whereas that exact same combo I needed one extra heavy attack to fill concerto before C5.

@@Kyle_116 What in your opinion ""Premium" Havoc buffer" means? Roccia has insanely higher ceiling with higher investment, and similar ceiling with low investment. For example, Roccia S2 is better for Camellya than Camellya's own S2, iirc math. And that's something Sanhua will never provide. That's why in my original comment I clearly stated, that Roccia should only be pulled if you love your Havoc teams.

I like that this trailer is pretty much her life story in musical form, its really fits her. Though the flow of the second part was a little wonky, but in general its a great trailer. As for Roccia herself, i might try a little, but i really need a new healer(SO sick of Verina(don't have shorekeeper)) and Phoebe gives on the inpression she will be one.

Phoebe is a main spectro dps btw, we will get a havoc healer in 2.2 though.

@ Phoebe's got a great set of skills though, she can fly in combat and teleport to enemies with her forte. Her basic attack 3-4 looks like Lux's ultimate from LoL.

My only wonder is if that bonus ATK from her ult is considered base attack or flat attack. Base attack could be cracked but I doubt that’s the case.

Pretty sure it's +200 base attack. However as Saintontas demonstrated, Sanhua at C6 also gives a +208 attack bonus to Camellya.

I laughed a lot when I got to play her during the quest…very fun to play and wacking TDs w a suitcase is so funny! Sadly, I’m not pulling her. I’m holding out for some strong male characters.

I'm not sure about this... it's not my cuppa tea tbh. Aside from the odd darker moment, it feels like watching a disney film - Beauty and the Beast sprang to mind at times. I teach primary kids and have my own children too... so when i load up Wuthering Waves i want it to feel a bit more grown up. Glad some people love her tho - definitely well designed and the trailer had effort behind it - just not for me. Wishing everyone luck on their pulls x

I think the biggest problem for Roccia is that she unfortunately suffers from middle child syndrome. She gets lost in all the excitement for the other 2.0 characters and she doesn't stand out. Personally, I find her design and gameplay (from the story trail) to be just ok. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really exciting either; especially following a character like Carlotta. Now, that's just my opinion, and to be fair, we shouldn't judge a character by just a few minutes of gameplay, but regardless, I've seen similar sentiments shared on social media so it's something to consider. In addition, I think the hype for the other 2.0 characters like Phoebe and Brant and especially Zani is just bigger. Roccia unfortunately gets eclipsed as a result. Also their are many players who just don't like loli characters. Having said all that, there are, of course, those seeming monority who like Roccia's design and gameplay and will be pulling for her and to be fair she does have good value, that being her perfect synergy with Camellya. However, I've seen some videos suggesting that an S6 Sanhua isn't the much of a down grade from Roccia at S0. Although, I don't know how true that is as I'm not knowledgeable with all that damage calculations stuff. There is also the idea of future proofing for the possibility of Geshu Lin being a Havoc resonator, but that's a big WHAT IF. As for me, I'll be skipping her as I am not a Camellya main and barely use the character. However, if in the future Roccia does have good synergy with Geshu Lin, then I'll pick her up.

Regarding S6 sanhua not being a downgrade from Roccia S0, there was the case of Roccia actually being a better Support for Havoc Rover. And Havoc Rover is quite the Generalist where Basic Attacks, Reso Skill, Heavy Attacks, and Reso Lib actually does quite alot of damage even before we actually got Camellya who is a Basic Attack scaling powerhouse.

We don't hate her for being a loli , just her kit is not really for my playstyle for a sub dps , for a premium teamate she is kinda slow despite being Sanhua replacement . Sanhua still outshine her despite lesser buff .
