Roces Has Been SOLD! Two New THEM edits, Amazing Female Rollerbladers, School For Rollerblading!

It's been a very interesting week in rollerblading. News broke that Roces has been sold to VeNeSport for around 3.3 millions euros. According to the news article Roces was in seriously difficulty and this sale has saved the brand. What does this mean now for the aggressive skating side of the operation

Kizer continue their relaunch by releasing the Kizer shift unlimited frame, allowing skaters to switch bewteen, flat, freestyle and anti rocker set-ups on their skates.
And online community for female rollerbladers and quad skaters has launched. You can learn how to rollerblade and find a like minded community.
There is a school in Japan that teaches rollerblading, skateboarding, bmx, break dancing and more.
Powerslide have some new urban skates, included inline skates especially designed for those with wide feet. I wonder if this boot will be used for aggressive skating?

Maybe you can do a video about the on a roll video game… started off amazing and a lot of people put money into the kickstarter. Many people put in money for a console (ps4) game. The target was was reached, yet at a certain point no one ever heard anything from the developer again. The game is pronounced dead for quite some time…

Japan isn’t taking over Asia is taking over South Korea have been slowly but surely gathering pace for a while. Jay Yoon and DJ Were the first kids are sore smashing it over there really of course not necessarily the first ones to do it but the first ones I’ve seen and ever since then it’s just blown up I don’t know whether it’s specifically thanks to THEM skates though because I know a lot of people wearing THEM skates not sure whether they went out and bought them or not sure whether then started sending skates over there for free 🤷🏼‍♂️

I saw a rec skater today at the park with some Fila three big wheel skates! On that note we actually have a huge rhythm skating community here in Louisiana. Btw today at the park I saw more roller skaters, rollerbladers, scooters and aggressive inline skaters than I did skateboarders. Tbh it’s been like that since 2022 and been growing. Thought you might like to know that info. Great vid btw!

With the kizer shift unlimited I would really like them to see About creating new stuff for the frame which is probably what they are going to do like different H blocks for different styles of flat or different anti-rocker and freestyle. That is one way to make it truly unlimited 😃 But I am 100% sure that someone is going to come along and start doing their own bits and bobs for it

@@TomMoyse well, I suppose it can only be good news if they were that deep in trouble. I’ve never yet tried on a pair of Roces, but I find myself rooting for them. They’re definitely a company with important roots in rollerblading, plus their team is one of the best.

Just a quick one on the Roces thing. I think they’d have a better time investing into in-line etc Not just in skates but actually getting more people on skates that way they make more money and if they are putting their skates on peoples feet that’s probably the brand they’re going to go out and buy especially if it’s Italian made etc that still holds a lot of weight in the world! This could go a few ways to be fair we could scrap aggressive altogether I hope they don’t but I am really looking forward to seeing what they do.

Feel like Roces have always been out of touch with the aggressive skating. They have barely changed anything in the last 20+ years. I hated the skates back then and still do since nothing significant has changed. At least Jon Julio took the M12 and made it a beautiful skate. Roces literally do nothing but make wack colour schemes that people love for some reason.
