Fantastic video brought back loads of fond memories,in fact if you type in song about Rochdale, you will hear a lot of the places shown in the video, i loved seeing the kirkholt bus 11A, i used to jump off backwards before it stopped opposite the Dicken green pub on Queensway!...thanks for the memories 🎉🎉🎉 charlie cat 🐈😺🐈

I lived in Rochdale 1964 to 1968 as a child. My Dad was manager of Thomas Cook on Drake Street and we lived on Weston Avenue. Nice video and so much kinder to the Town than so many commentaries on it these days.

I remember walking through rochdale when I was about 8 (I was born in 1980 BTY) and I saw the McDonald’s sign put up as they were building the McDonald’s, and I said to my mum ‘look mum, McDonald’s is coming to rochdale’ and she said ‘don’t be so stupid’ and gave me a clip round the ear-ole. But I was proved right a few weeks later when it opened. I miss you mum x x

This makes me feel so sad and happy at the same time. Is it me or does the song here sound so much more emotional than it did in that ‘Hovis’ advert? I think the chords are a little different in places maybe, cos it has a different feel.
