@Haljordan4life He's not even that power hungry, he just seized opportunity with the north in disarray but I'd say Henselt is a much more agressive expansionist, Radovid tried things in a more subtle manner and I doubt Kings like Foltest wouldn't have done otherwise given the chance.

So sad for Roche. To save Temeria, it's either to sell your princess and soul to Radovid (TW2 here), or to sell your sovereign and soul to Emyr (TW3 siding with him). To save motherland, one must sell part of it, pure tragedy.

@@individumm5366 Too bad that it possibly was too difficult to add him into the game. I mean what could be his purpose? The Temerian Guerillas are under Roches command, most of the deserters under the Baron... there is just no place for him where he could fit in well in the story. But thats a shame, i like Natalis. But on the other hand, i wouldn't want to see a broken Natalis in some stinking hole in Velen.

Actually I learned recently that if Adda is alive Radovid implies Anais will simply stay in Tretogor with her half-sister (and probably be married off to some other high-standing noble Redanian) then when she comes of age she can return to Temeria to be the queen. He says "My future Bride" in this video which is only something he says if Adda isn't alive from Witcher 1.

@@HEKVT It's funny considering the "War Recap" scene in Witcher 3 does account for your Henselt choice but nothing else as far as I know. I'm going to do a save import with this choice to see whether there is any difference. I doubt many people have footage considering you can't choose this outcome if you Simulate a save (Natalis is just the default)

@@TaxFraudTutorials Mhm, I started W3 before the other 2, then played them, I did a save from W1 with neutral ending where I spared Siegried and Yaevinn, as well as curing Adda again - in Witcher 2 it counted Siegfried as dead and Adda alive, and I did the Iorveth ending - in Witcher 3 I'm going to do a NG+ and import the save from that but I think the only change that will occur is Geralt having the tattoo, and Letho being alive.

This is objectively the best outcome for anais herself. If Adda is alive, she's with her half-sister, and in the Capitol of Redania, far from the harm that she'd be in with Natalis and his civil war, she'd be a target for assassination's. If you gave her to Natalis she's probably dead by the time Witcher 3 rolls around whereas I can buy the idea of her at least surviving if she went with Radovid.

The lack of a mention in TW3 leads me to believe that Anias is probably still alive. I don't see why Radovid would kill Anias, anyway, since depending on the ending of TW2, he may have had Anias in his possession in the first place and was his link to the Temerian throne. Still, even if she was given to Natalis, it would be strange that she and Jon Natalis have disappeared for some silly reason. Odd how the so-called greatest military mind in the north just vanishes with the heir to Temeria. i mean I find the idea that he's hiding Anais more plausible although all this is mostly my take on it and not based on any solid factual grounding.

Nicholas Ohmann But this is in Roche’s path. She gets her eyes taken out if you take Iorveth’s path; there’s a few events that play out differently in each one’s path.

@@boskifigueroa In TW3, you learn that she lost her eyes no matter which path you took. The only difference is you get to see it happen if you side with Iorveth, and only get to hear about it if you side with Roche.

Sure he was an opportunistic bastard but he wasn't insane enough to do the stuff in Witcher 3 without reason and out of pragmatism. He felt charismatic in the first game and the king that seemed to be best choice for witcher 2. The only thin I liked was how he was able to beat nilfgaard against the odds and a damn good military leader.

I actually like some things in this game better than tw3, I would be so hyped if it came out like right now full open world graphics and size like tw3... I hate that I got spoiled by witcher 3 open world so it's really hard in witcher 2 for me

The story of TW2 is better in my opinion. The main story in TW3 is not bad, but it isn't the thing that gets you to replay the game over and over. The world is it. There are so many locations, so many contracts, so many side-quests and most of them got so much impact... emotional, complex, dark... Even in your third oder fourth walkthrough you encounter new things. Its just beautiful. The main story is just the string that keeps everything connected. In TW2 the main story is absolulety amazing, no comparison.

@@josephryan5797 I feel like I’m the only one who likes the Witcher 1 combat, 3 different sword stances/styles (6 all together if you include silver sword) 5 unique move sets for each style, including a power move similar to reind or whirl, like dude that is ducking epic, And walking around during midnight was actually a huge risk due to monsters walking about, once ran into a herd of these weird fat witch looking things which I only found in the chapter 4 during the night

What happens To Anais Bother? This is a sad ending...Redanian is ruled by a Madman Radovid who hates Witches and all magic users alike. Both of Geralt's Love interests are Witches, on top of that Ciri is a MAgic user as well. Having Radovid Rule the lands is the worst ending there will be no peace for Witches or Wizards if they have the magic they are getting killed by him since he doesn't trust them. Nilfgaardians Accept all who are different even to their Ruler is pretty bad as well, at least he is far more accepting them Radovid is when it comes to Witches and Wizards.

But when the need arise, they will use witchers and sorceresses, like letho, geralt, yen, fringilla, cynthia, vilgefortz, etc.
