@@Madcap_Carburation86 if the float Is stuck open Do I have to rebuild a whole carburetor It’s a four barrel Quadra jet Call me Ryder

@@cadillac9142 it might need a rebuild but it might not. You can unstuck the float by taking the air horn off and checking the needle and seat. A lot of times the needle can get stuck open. But from past experience if the needle is getting stuck open a lot of times it's because there's gunk in the carburetor. I would say depending on how the inside of the carburetor looks that will determine if you need to rebuild it or not. Or maybe it just needs a good cleaning

Does that rebuild apply to other model quadrajets...the same process and steps?

So some stuff would apply to other quadrajets but there's many different variations of the Quadrajet. This video applies to a 1970 Chevrolet Quadrajet.

You forgot to measure the float level

Yeah you're right I should have added that in there. I can always make a separate video on how to do that and also other adjustments that should be checked as well.
