Jamaica is such a blessed country,but we take it for granted,until we go to these so called first world countries,we quickly realize that simple life style is less stressful and enjoyable.❤️❤️❤️🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

It's so funny here in South Florida, there are sea grapes all along the seacoast and ackee trees growing in ppl yards, and Nobody even knows they're edible! We saw a giant ackee tree in a yard & all the ackee was on the ground. We asked if we could pick some, and the man was looking at us like we were crazy! Also, there are coconut trees in almost every neighborhood, and Nobody use them. They literally pay a company to remove the coconuts! So crazy

Jamaicans brought the ackees to So. Florida yrs ago. In general, the ackees in Florida don't taste as good as the ones in Jamaica.
@empressmalaya23 күн бұрын
@kwacou4279 I'm glad they did bring it! Plenty of free ackee here. I haven't noticed a difference in the taste, but I heard ackee is illegal here bc they say it's poison. But they sell it in tins at the grocery shop.

I love it! A my Parish this. It’s so blessed. Free food everywhere. Sean please walk behind your family next time. I know there is a lot of excitement but anything can happen. My husband refuses to walk ahead of me and I always protest that I’m fine. We are a young couple also and we always walk side by side or him behind me allowing him to protect me. Seeing Roch walking those steep slopes with the baby strapped to her made me understand his perspective. Looking forward to all the videos. Enjoy yourselves!! And stay safe

The difference in US is you really have to plant your own fruit bearing trees and nut bearing trees. I’m in NC and we practically have turned into local farmers. We got peach Trees grape vines fig trees apple trees pecan chestnuts PERSIMMONS but they only produce summer and spring or early fall months. We plant heirloom tomatoes and okra potatoes pumpkins every summer and preserve food in jars for winter

I sure wish our trees in America all grew fruit, I would love to be able to walk up to any tree and eat the fruit just like in the Garden of Eden, I’m sure that’s how God meant for it to be❤️
@empressmalaya24 күн бұрын
There used to be fruit trees like apples etc, but the govt decided to only plant male trees so that ppl couldn't eat it for free. And that's why there's so much pollen.
@goshen733424 күн бұрын
These heathens do that purposely. They want us to depend on them for all things while they poison the food they give us. That is why you won’t find fruit trees there. These people are the cancers of the earth. I have land in the country in the US and still no fruit trees just growing unless you plant them yourself.

Young Lady, thank you for bringing me the lighter side of Jamaica. It is a refreshing change to worrying about what I might be faced with upon my return back home which I am planning for the possible next 2 months... I just want to relax in St. Mary and my fathers house in Meadowbrook. Canada is very depressing but so is the possibility of facing violence on my return and badmind demonic people

Rochielin those grapes he is calling Jamaican grapes are actually sea grapes. They grow quite good near beaches and are plentiful in the Negril seasides or beaches. As to the other grapes he is calling American grapes, I know what he meant as he is trying to differentiate the sea grapes from what we traditionally know as grapes but there are a vide variety of these, non really called American grapes. I used to grow them in my backyard in Portmore and got good harvest from them. They are also grown all over Jamaica but not in very large plantations except some years ago in St. Thomas. Many are supplied to hotels and are not sold in regular markets as the quantities are still insufficient.
