I asked him what people he said you Jamaican, I shared a flat with a Ghanaian and his mom visited him and when she heard I was Jamaican she told me I'm a slave baby and I need to find a new place to live thirty five years ago when I was living in Jamaica every day I got up and sang I'm going back to Africa but living here in the UK and experience there dislike for Jamaica change my mind they believe they are superior to us

I’ve shared my personal experiences from my visit, and the reality is visiting a country for a few days, weeks or even months would not give you the whole idea of the place but it gives enough and what I learned about Jamaica is that it is warm and welcoming.

I think it depends on the perspective for me I meant both Islands are fairly flat so they can build more compared to others which have huge mountains in the middle only allowing for people to live along the coast line, like St Vincent and the Grenadines for instance. Otherwise both Barbados and Jamaica have their own charm

Kingston & St Andrew Half-Way Tree, the capital of St. Andrew, is commonly referred to as the midway mark between what is called “Uptown” and “Downtown”. You are in Half Way Tree. All the places you are visiting, such as Devon House, Emancipation Park, and the Bob Marley Museum, are in the parish of St. Andrew, not Kingston. I really hate these KZbinrs giving misinformation about Jamaica. Why can’t someone correct them? Your information is all incorrect, and your content makes no sense if your facts are not correct. If you were in Trench Town, then you are in Kingston. Sister, ask your tour guide for proper information. When you go downtown, you are in the parish of Kingston. This is where Coronation Market, St. William Grant Park, Craft Market, and Ocean Boulevard are located. It seems to me that my country people don’t really know the difference between St. Andrew and Kingston. Do you know that Kingston is the capital of Jamaica, it is the smallest parish but the most populated city on the island. It has the 7th largest natural harbour in the world facing it, which is protected by the Palisadoes, a long sand spit which connects the town of Port Royal and the Norman Manley International Airport to the rest of the island.

As a Jamaican I have only been to Trench Town one time and that's in the 70s for our school netball match, I have been to Collie Smith Drive once for a cricket match and my understanding is these areas make up Kingston.

I have three sons: the first was born in Kingston at KPH (Kingston Public Hospital), while the other two were born in St Andrew at UWI (University of the West Indies). This is reflected on their birth certificates. In my British passport, my place of birth is listed as St Andrew-I couldn’t write Kingston as it would create a discrepancy since my birth certificate states otherwise. It’s important to pay attention to these small details on official documents. I remember in 1997 when I came to Jamaica to sort out my son’s birth certificate, I noticed some inconsistencies with the information UWI had. @PrioryCampion I think you don't understand the difference between Kingston Parish and Kingston city ,it's like New York state and New York City ,.If you were born in Yonkers ,you were from New York state but not NYC .Same as for Kingston ,only downtown and Port Royal makes up the parish of Kingston.The city of Kingston starts from Port Royal Back to papine in the east and Stony hill to the west .The rest of St Andrew is either Easter rural St Andrew(Mavis bank , Gordon town,Irish town or west rural St Andrew (Lawrence tavern,Golden spring, rural Stony hil)l
