Positive Doc! Let's go! I don't see these all-style events as battles anymore. I just take in each round by itself like it's a bite sized showcase and ignore any thoughts about judging. It is more enjoyable to me that way. It also lessens the distractions so I can actually focus on details I can take away for my own dance.

Keepin' it "P"... Positively for The PALACE!!! Doc, fire take as always! I think I've been in the PALACE long enough to see a little bit pass the Performance-like Energy and power blowup moves. Thus, I would've judged Laurent vs Miel by looking at the things we have learned here, in THE PALACE; Rhythms, Tempo changes, Staying in the pocket, Layers, Direction/ Mis-directions, Levels and Range. When we looked at those things; Laurent took the W clearly, by experience (his execution was technically better than Miel's). These things Miel can learn and execute at the highest level, as well.

I agree with you - i was in the event, and honestly he barely danced. At that point of time in the end of his round, he was just throwing hands without thinkin straight. And since the event was so hyped in term of energy in the room , people just got along wiz him and start hypin too - But overall he did good for an electro dancer tbh. Respect

Miel is good I remember I recommend his btm match up with Larry but yo Rochka even with the medical issues bro went crazy 🔥 that pocket of footwork he was in to mix it up was elite.

How I looked at it was Laurent clearly upgraded from his last round. Nothing feel off. Miel either did not upgrade his performance or really do anything outside what was expected from his previous round. Yeah he had the hype but they were gonna do that no matter what. His round started and his crew (im assuming?) started firing on all cylinders to hype him up but I don’t think his dance personally matched the level up hype. (Edited) I think in a tiebreaker situation in order to win you have to really cement your point. Whereas Miel kind of, although still very entertaining and raw, it was very stagnant. Same beats, same punchlines, it lacked the versatility. For example someone like Ibuki brings a lot of versatility within her style still able to dissect the music without being stagnant.

to me u forfeit your round once u have to pull yo homie into it. plus the energy thing, like its nice it might even give u chills but besides just really wanting to win its the way u show it u have to dance that u cant energy ur way to a win its about the way you dance in the dance battle overall energy plays a role but u have to make it up with ur dancing, which is why laurent and rochka won that is what wins a dance battle with emphasis on dance because they have both the energy and dance the other two were damn near just hype and energy with choreographed mortal kombat specials😂it was cool to look at tho but the time they danced by themselves ...go and watch that compared to laurent and rochkas rounds...exactly🤣i rest my case
