Thanks Donald! I'm a little late to the party. Just received my Willys last week. I tried using a GI Joe figure and it didn't fit. I then tried Rick from The Walking Dead and he fit, but didn't look the part. Abraham fits the role perfectly! I just ordered one. I can't wait for the chance to get some footage of this model! Some day when money is not tight I'll look back into these. Just breath taking, My Father had one, was a mechanic in vietnam, when he was discharged he purchased one from an auction, spent a few years restoring it, make it his summer driver for a long time before I was born. My brother followed in my old man's footsteps as far as the jeeps going, He ended up picking up a 1957 Willys in amazing condition, being a 18 year old kid, he dropped in a small block v8 302, added a 2 inch lift and 33 inch tires, it was absolutely gorgeous, 2 months after buying it, we rolled it 6 or 7 times with me in it after we landed bad off a jump on a dirt track LOL.. we were both fine, helmets, harness, rollcage.. etc.. mind you my brother paid 5k for everyting back in '93. sorry for the insane rant but I really really love this RC. I might wait a bit and look for a used one. thank you for showing , much thanks! - Infact, If anyone reading this would like to sell this vehicle 2nd hand let me know. I am looking to pay a bit less.

Thanks for this! I reduced all leafs I could, the rear is too soft for my purposes now. I might put 3 or 4 leafs more because I keep additional weight on back seat. Willys is not in scale by the weight, I calculated that it should be around 1 kg. Should do good to the jumpy movement on uneven terrain also.

I really like this jeep but it does need a higher torque. Do you know of a stronger motor .

Maybe the Injora 50 t (check my motortest video). I am quite happy with the torque, but for me the Willys is more a shelf queen than a crawler.

Good that you removed all the military markings because it makes it unique instead of a clone Jeep. I was surprised that even the 1/6 RocHobby Jeep has the same markings [205162675]! Wait, there is a Welly 1/18 MB in diecast metal. It has the same markings. 🤣

I apologise for my oversight, thsnk you for your help. Taking into account everything about the 1.12 and 1.6 versions I prefer the 1.12 Jeep. Do you know if or when a machine gun may be available? I hope to acquire the DID Palm Heto figures, the best in my view.

Hello i am having issues with the car. When i plug in the battery the lights just flash on off over and over again. I cant figure it out if it is the battery or the charger or something else. The steering servo moves but it is heistated before moving again in the same direction help? thanks!

Steering servo moves if you turn the steering wheel on the radio or moves without control? What is your battery voltage?

@@donaldsneffe i think it is a battery issue. The steering servo moves in one direction but it moves like it is disconnecting and reconnecting over and over

@@RealSamuelMach Then try a different battery. Always plug off battery after running, if you keep it connected to the receiver (even in off-position), this will destroy your battery.
