I don't care what anyone thinks. This version by Mr. Tony Snow is epic by my standards. I first heard this my junior year 1977 in California living on Vandenberg AFB. This version is (*****) star rating. Tonight Nov 20, 2017 @ 8:28pm is the 1st time I've gotten to hear this since 1977. O.M.G!!!!!!! Today's Technology does have it advantages when searching for real good music that define your past. Thank you KZbin.

Listening to this song gives me that lonesome feeling.... I always thought it was specially written for Tina Turner in the early years of her come back. Now listening to this version, it just brought a whole new meaning. Great Song. Love it.

this album stands out as one of the strongest memories of my life!!! i was working at an FM radio station at Cornell and this was a featured late summer/fall '76. i still have my original vinyl...this has so so many memories...and i thing the music still stands strong. the tempo changes, great production, vocals...this is easily in my top 10 albums of all time!!!!

Maybe the Best "unknown" LP I ever purchased - I actually bought several copies in case it went out of print. Top notch writing, great studio band, great performances, great guests,. just a real special album for me. I always had hope it would make to CD someday!

I always though Tina's version should've been an A side single instead of a throwaway B-side. Just curious, did you rec'd royalties from the sale of single even though it was used as a b-side?

Yes. I got mechanical royalties from sales of record. Not much in the way of airplay though. Thanks for your kind thoughts.
