I use printed images, I use those to make my transfers :)

I just use a small overhead projector (permanently mounted on the ceiling) and Photoshop (to adjust the size of the image to suit my needs) to draw/trace whatever I want onto paper (for whatever size watercolor I'm going to paint) and rocks (for rock painting)-so simple, so clean, and so relaxing. The images I use on my computer (that are relayed to the projector) come from pictures that I've taken, Google Image searches, Pinterest images, and many different internet sites. Enjoy : )

Yes it does.. i would try it to see how you like the ink transfer :)
