I mean, it does work so long as the game understands what key the song is in, and what chords it goes through. From there, interpreting sequences of button presses into tonally adequate sequences of notes is totally possible.

I think it's player improvisation, rather than being randomly generated by the game? The "complete lack of any kind of expression or quality" is in that case based on the players improv skills, rather than the game ^^ Although the sound quality during the solo was horrible..

One of these days I'm gonna sit down and learn how to play the intro correctly. Maybe. Nah, too out of practice (aka LAZY) lol I've pretty much given up on ever playing Dragonforce songs good enough to get more than 3 stars without using Freestyle solos. Forget GH3; I've been playing this on it recently and have actually gotten worse.

+edwardelric880 The easiest way to get the intro is to hold down the green fret and to just focus on the rest of the notes with your other fingers and/or your other hand. I believe there's some tuts out there as well for the intro.
