This season they're all SLAYING IT with their amazing characters and interactions. Chutney with his subplot about MCs and Werewolves, and learning that going with his instincts will probably kill him, Laudna with D, Patè and her relationship with Imogen, FCG with a character that wants to heal others mentally but won't allow them to heal him, which doesn't help with his past coming back, Fearne with her extensively detailed backstory about the Feywild, her parents, her ranking and so on, which mix in an odd yet satisfying way with her curious and CHAOTIC character, Imogen with the call for power and answers EVEN while knowing that the more she delves deep the more danger she's putting herself in, Orym and his big "tired babysitter" vibe, trying to balance helping these fools he loves, doing his job, and seeking vengeance for his loved one, and finally Ashton being continuously shifting between his old and new life, recolldcting traumatic events while redescovering the most fun parts of his hometown. Even guest characters, being able to stay much longer, are MUCH more detailed than in the past, and this gives a chance to their players to leave a deeper mark on the plot.

I know its kind of played for comedy, but I totally understand how Laudna feels. Because my best friend and I went through something kind of similar, and I was so devastated when I felt like my friend was pushing me away. Fortunately we worked everything out, but man that feeling of fear when you think your best friend (especially if you don’t have other people in your life that you trust or feel understood by) hates you or is going to reject you forever is so terrifying, and painful.
