The desperation and horror in Jester's voice when Fjord summons his falchion is such a great commitment to the bit on Laura's part.

The funniest part is that Nott had already offered to buy the books earlier but Caleb just thought she was kidding or was gonna steal them. Never occurred to him that Nott had the money all along.
