On this episode of Rock Rods we are taking you to Dirt Nasty Offroad Park in Morehead, Kentucky for the 2019 Hill Top Madness Rock Bouncer Hill Climb event. Rain made for a sloppy mud covered Hill Climb Racing Course. They had a handfull of the best Rock Bouncers in the sport of Rock Bouncing brave the weather and take on this crazy long up and down rock racing course. Good Lord Matt! Where the hell did you get that umbrella? It looks like you dragged it out of the dump! LOL. Another great video. Tim Cameron always makes it looks so easy.... Which leads me to wonder, just how much of it boils down to driver's skill as it does to the rig itself? It would make an interesting survey and I'd like to hear what others have to say. i.e. How much do you think winning depends upon the design of the machine? Driver skills? Suspension? Horsepower? You always see the same drivers coming out on top over and over again. I have never been close to one of these rigs, but just watching, it appears that the really experienced drivers know when to keep their foot in it and when to back off, while the less experienced drivers take their foot out of it when they shouldn't... (this from a couch Rock Rodder) LOL, Thanks again. Doug in Nova Scotia.

Driver makes a big difference that is why the same 5 guys continue to finish on the podium consistently. With that being said even the best driver can't win if his rig lets him down. Spoiler alert: TC didn't finish hill 2 this past weekend knocking him out of the top 5 for the day.
