Just about what you’d expect from a direct to video sequel. A lot of the characters in this sequel are nothing like they were in the original movie. Bodi acts like a stereotypical teen when he was nothing like that in the original, bodi’s father is completely different as well and all of a sudden a huge fanboy of his son which is very weird, as that was nothing like his character in the original, his father despised music, and only changed at the very end. But it still doesn’t make sense for bodi’s father to all of a sudden be this huge fan. And then you’ve Linux who is also completely different and has vastly different motivations, he didn’t even care about music in the original. And now for some reason, Skozz and Riff are bad again, I guess. Just not a very good follow up in my opinion. And apparently there’s a third one on the way and it’s going to have Angus in it, and even Eddie Izard is coming to voice him again.
