All those agate fortified breccias are what I have been focused on for the last several months. Their true beauty can be easily overlooked when all you can see at first is the shattered and tumbled outer cortex. Once cleaned up , cut, and polished they render the details and share their lesson with us. Formed, broken , and then fortified to make them whole again. Great stuff Nate, the highlight of my busy day.

Oh yeah! Hounding and cutting two of my favorite thing! Thank you just watch your fingers

thank you for caring ❤️, these saws are grinder blades , don't worry, not too sharp, but you can get caught in a pinch on mine . you can touch these and not loose a finger so its ok to work closer to the blade than a wood saw.

Nate I enjoy the direction that you have chosen for your channel as you improve your editing skills. The new music is a surprisingly peaceful moment. I'm still a huge fan of the season one musical selection... it was a highlight of my day... as I re watched so many videos waiting for the next episode. Wishing you many blessings my friend.

I purchased a vibration tumbler last weekend. Used ofcourse... but I'm excited nonetheless.. me and some grandchildren drove 3 hours to purchase it an a new grinder wheel.. Now all my slabs can get a beautiful shine.. loved the braichiated serpentine. I so am envious of the chert.. Jagasper... that braichiated stones are so beautiful to look at.... pink, blue, brown, ... as I watch you rinse banded jasper atop chert... Why must we apologize for the winds... Loving the butterscotch and red jasper. Feldspar might be in that bit that flashes.. I find some here, coral or pink and slightly yellowish too..

Jasper + Agate = JAGATE (pron. Jagg-it) I've found quite a few of these along SoCal pacific beaches. By the time they wash up down here, from your neck of the woods(?), & via oceanic currents, they're predominately smooth & rounded. Tho usually rarer than the two tone (blue-orange tinted) clear agates/ chalcedony. Therefore a treat! Seems like it's the wild west in as far as naming agate varieties. I often refer to the small blue & rounded ocean tumbled agates (with a powdered sugar like silica coating) as "Blueberries"..also a rare treat!

What kind of saw is that sir? Awesome video 👍🏻
@rebeccaofsunnybrookefarm84693 жыл бұрын
That is a contractor wet tile saw. The average price is 600.00 in the midwest, you can find them for less but they lack that awesome slide tray for cutting. Check on market place in your area. Definitely wear a mask to protect your lungs from all the silicate that gets aerated.. and a shield or goggles shat spray carries particles that can damage the eyes... There are some really small tile saw for about 75.00 at most home improvement stores.

That mahogany obsidian is pretty dang neat. So many beautiful jasp-agates. I think the first stone is a granite. Question... Where did you learn the name flame spectrum? I find material like that a lot. I've always called it kind of a plumy lol not knowing the actual term...
@QuestForDetails3 жыл бұрын
just referring to the color wheel and light, guess I picked it up in landscaping and elements and art, so all the yellows through reds are fire or flame spectrum to me , blue through green- the water spectrum- ect. lol, plume is a correct term for some parts of these for sure, your terminology is usually right on as far as I can tell, learning right along with you my friend, finders and hunters schooling in field ; )
