I discovered these guys back in my music school days and couldn't figure out why they weren't HUGE! Hearing this tune takes me back to the Phat Phunktion soundtrack that was my early 20s traveling to and from gigs. I have shared with with as many of my jazz/funk friends out there slummin it on dates and they too have the same reaction. FWIW these albums had an enormous impact on my youth as a musician. The new stuff is fantastic. Killer players and now that I'm finding this live stuff I'm even more impressed. Well done 👏
