Let's be real. The singing voice does not last forever. His voice is memorialized in his recordings, but to continue to perform, and do so badly, after decades of a deteriorating voice, is something recording artists should steer away from. Aside of how course the voice sounds, he doesn't have the range he once had and can't hit those notes. Nor does he have the lung capacity to breathe properly when trying to sing. It's not just Glenn. Many keep thinking they've still got it when they don't. I had to mute this video because I prefer Glenn's 1979 voice.

A bit harsh. He’s 78. He’s not going to sound like he did when he was 34. Few performers do. Heard McCartney lately? He sounds real good here. There are many more performers out there performing with much less.

Have you heard Vince Neal or Axle Rose? They are 20 years younger and sound like crap. At least Glenn can carry a note still 🎶
