I am 35 years old guy. Have wife and daughter, small private bussines(wedding photographer), bank loan for apartmant.. I am still looking for some new sounds in punk rock world, and I found this bend few years ago. When I was thinking that all is the same, rvivr was like a gift. Very fresh, emotional, possitive, melodic.. we, as a family, listen this bend very often in a car ( disography is always in a car). Resilent bastard was lullybye for our daughter for a while, when she was 2 years old. Hope, I will see them live :) big kisses from Croatia!

@@joralfquist3850 oh yeah I'm all over the other bands from this little clique. BIg Nothing and Spraynard I've not heard of so I'll check them out. seems like a few years ago there was a whole new sound, and a tonne of new bands. but in 2020 there's nothing ! (the websites are promoting a lot of bands with female singers but a lot of them are a bit crap sadly)

Um show do RVIVR se resume no que o Mattie falou no fim do vídeo... "Havia uma certa energias nos shows... Um certo entusiasmo que é meio complicado colocar em palavras, mas foi um sentimento que esses shows têm. Esse tipo de emoção, liberação, quase como uma catarsis ou algo do tipo... E as pessoas nos shows pareciam estar tão felizes de nós estarmos aqui, quanto nós estamos de estar aqui, parecia um círculo seguindo um fluxo que passava um sentimento muito, muito bom."

And Mattie is a fucking legend. Every time I see them my faith in punk is renewed. I've seen rvivr on numerous occasions and I've been misty eyed with a giant smile on my face with feelings of unity and hope and just pure fun that I don't feel that with many other bands. They are one of a kind and Mattie is a huge huge part of it. A punk scene without new music from Mattie just has a void in it.
