Is there a specific time of year where the water isn’t so rough . I’m interested in the Hardrock but time and time again I hear about the rough waters . Is all punta Cana the same with this issue ?

Grounds beautiful,hotel rooms lovely,beach excellent,sea very rough,food is average ,drinks average (sugar loaded cocktails) ,adult entertainment after 6 pm non existent. No bar playing live music at HR -unbelievable. Staff great btw .
