Gorgeous looking Tele. Love the burst and natural body wood, gloss finished maple fingerboard & neck and the entire tonal colour combination. Tortie pickguard gives it all an autumnal vibe although it'd look equally elegant with a black or white pickguard for contrast.

King Colomon of Prestonpans is back. Still loving your Telecaster period. That's my main guitar these days, too. Rocking out to Quo, Slade, Sweet etc a bit of the ol Glam Rock. I was hoping you'd still do your posts of your favourite records (like you did with the proclaimers record) you had great insight and knew your stuff so hope you do more of that, King Col.

Slade is so under rated, a monster group that put out so many songs that became hits for other groups in the 80s.

@@weasel6535 totally agree and Dave Hill is a much underrated player. Hope you are doing well 👍

Hey Colin, what model of Tele is that you are playing? Is it the American Professional II? I had learned the RaB scale via Randy Richter, G major combined with G minor but I never really knew how to put it into use, but this video really shows me. Thanks.

@@weasel6535 hi there. It is indeed a professional 2 telecaster. I bought it second hand from guitar guitar in Edinburgh. Yeah once you have the rockabilly scale and you understand to follow the chord changes the world is your oyster! 😊👍

@@rockabillyrevolution I am eyeing one here, on sale for $2100 Cdn, it is a battle between I WANT and DO I NEED IT, so far my Gretsch Jet is filling the bill so kind of sitting on the WANT IT but don't NEED IT.

@@weasel6535it’s a bit different from playing a Gretsch but after a while it gets very worthwhile playing a telecaster- go for it 👍
