Mochi Boi True but face it - at least the songs of theirs I am familiar with do not require what one might consider a very broad vocal range so that has to help. Now Steve Perry at 70 singing Journey songs? Don’t think so as he doesn’t hit the high notes like he did at 30.

Without taking anything away from the Beatles or the Rolling Stones, if you were born in the late 60s early 70s, in to alternative music, then The Cure have been there ever since. They deserve every platitude. And this song is but one of their finest.

They've been playing for over 45 years. I love their music. I saw them in 1989, live thanks to an amazing woman who had some pull to get 5th row seats. The experience was magnificent. These four guys made enough music to fill Great Woods, the venue in Mansfield, Massachusetts and beyond. The power, the emotion, and the artistry was like nothing I'd ever heard or seen

What an absolute legendary band this is. They've been impossible to pin down. Everyone thinks of them as shoegazing goths but they've written some of the most perfect pop songs in history. Į first saw them on TV in Oz in about 1980, and I've been a fan ever since.

100% indie cred, despite all these years. The Cure are a model of artistic integrity.
As much of an influence the cure is on a lot of bands and from the time they made their best music, the thing I enjoy the most is Robert smiths humility and longevity as a performer.

i love robert so much for keeping up his style through all these years, as a gen z kid its really refreshing to find someone like him whos part of a 80's band still perform as THE robert smith.
