RockAuto selling counterfeit parts??

doubt its counterfit, maybe a private label buy out though. Sadly this is the aftermarket auto industry these days, every company is moving production to the cheapest labor they can find even denso., sell junk with a warranty then make it a pita to honor, no more small business manufacturing quality parts just multi brand firms churning junk for max profit.. Any part I get these days that shows made in India gets returned about the worst quality I've ever seen from any parts supplier makes even the cheapest made in China stuff look good.

Did it ship from Sugarland Texas if so it's a warehouse called surplus parts RockAuto ships stuff from different warehouses around the country they don't own any of them just Google the address let the parts ship from

i baught a denso cabin filter. was so flimsy it folds or crunches up when i try to install. its going in the trash. the stp filter i took out was a much better filter then the denso. yep i would say counterfeit from rock auto. to bad i liked ordering from them to. dealer parts only from now on for me

They’re easy to order from and have a ton of parts. But, even the Denso compressor I ordered looks like the clutch is starting to wobble. Maybe Denso is starting to cheap out

I bought a koyo rad ac co denser and the box it came in said "koyoair" idk.. real question is does it work and did you get a good deal?

The Denso oil filter I bought recently had "Made in China" stamped on it. Why would Japan have their filters made in China? It's best to check your parts before you buy them.

I bought spark plugs from Ebay and a month later my car ran like sh*t pulled the plugs they were imitation junk and cracked...Now I want to buy plugs from Rock Auto I'm wondering if it's safe😢😢

Very safe, just buy name brand. I get 80% of my parts from them. All name brand all legit

Seatime. Nearly all low cost plugs on eBay are counterfeit. You can't buy an iridium plug for $2.50.

well i got cabin filters and they are not a gm part, anything they can do to sell you a part that nothing but junk, and then charge you full price, its that simple, it wasnt new, you paid for a new one, rock auto refuses to pick up a phone, it takes all afternoon of going to their site, printing off labels, and then going to the ups store, shipping it back to them, hopefully it came out of the same warehouse or you have to send out to two different places, nothing but a horribly run business, i will never buy anything from them again, and hopefully people will learn, dont but shit made in china, nothing built there is because of quality , its built there so some idiot thinks he is getting a 10 oil filter for 5 bucks, when he bought a filter that cost probably 1.50 to make.
