You could save yourself a whole lot of brain fatigue and eliminate all of the issues with velcro by just using 3M dual lock instead of velcro.

Cost a whole lot more money. This can be made for $20, basically. The whole point is to be as inclusive as possible. This Velcro isn’t hard and works just fine. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Great idea Josh! Cheap, easy and anyone can build these with a hand saw if that's all they got. Could even raid a construction site off-cut pile. I got a couple bins of off-cuts sitting around. If the glue doesn't hold on the velcro, could slam a bunch of staples thought it. 👍
