Rockbros Smart Tail light for cyclist | Smart Brake sensor

Been searching for a perfect tail light for my night rides around my hometown. In this video, i will show you my new tail light for my bike. It is the Rockbros smart tail light. I bought this at Shopee for only 850 pesos only shipping excluded. The reason why i chose this its because of its smart features. Please check the video for more infos. There’s one thing no one covers on these reviews, and it amazes me because it’s the one thing at the forefront of my mind and is the thing I’m trying to get an answer to before buying a brake light. My question: Is there a brake light out there which works when the unit is switched off during the day, i.e. you are cycling along in traffic, it’s daytime so your lights are off, you brake or slow down and a brake light at the rear comes on? Is there such a thing? Seems to me the manufacturers are all focussed on having a brake light which is only functional when the unit is on, so there is already lumination and then gets slightly brighter when slowing down. This is fine but doesn’t have the same impact as a light coming on from the off position. This is after all the way brake lights work on every motor vehicle in the world, so I don’t think I’m being unreasonable in saying I’m amazed the manufacturers aren’t doing it and that reviewers aren’t covering it. Thoughts???

I totally get exactly what your asking, people who don't get what your asking, just need think harder and unpack your words, but I totally get it, in fact today I'm spending a good part of my day trying to find a smart rear/brake light pattern exactly like what your wishlist would be. I have not found it yet, and I'm accepting the possibility that no such E-bike traditional auto brake light pattern exist, (which I think is a big mistake on the part of manufacturers) my question above yours was along the same line of thought, and it was triggered by the demonstration of the ''sleep mode'' but I'm afraid it's going to work the same way I've seen others work, which is a constant light pattern has to be shinning at all times, and I think the closest pattern that makes the most sense to what you and are looing for is ''breathe'' mode. (your turn to reply with anything else you've found out there?) P.S. I do like that this Rock brothers model last as long as 50 hours between charges)

I'm confused, does one of the pattern of the lights that your choosing, actually remain on , or do they go into ''sleepmode '' even while your riding contiously? P.S. how many minutes can you expect the unit to stay charged if you leave it in the ''breathe'' settting?

They are still on and wont go into sleepmode if continuously riding. I am not sure but usually i charge my light once a month. I am an occasional rider 2 to 3x a week with 3 hours duration every ride.

No, Its not possible. The light will not fit. U may use the seatpost mount. It is visible aswell even if u have saddle bag.

Hi, when in mode 1 and 2, light turns off when outside during day time then light turns on at night or when it gets dark like when you enter a tunnel. In mode 3 and 4, light is always ON regardless if it's day time or night time.

after one biking season I just wanted to us it again but after charging I realised that light is not working properly. The swich on/off buton is broken. Light is workin constantly and I can.t turn it off or changing the mode. It seems like the button is not workin anymore. Highly disapointing. It was useed maybe 10 times. I tried to consult this problem with Rockbros byt they told me: It is allready more than a year after purchace, FY customer. I hoped that the light has some kind of a glich and can be reset. Especialy that the button has this click. Maybe enyone has similar experiance and found a solution? Or it's trash allready?

Sorry for that mate. Maybe a factory defect on the item. I had the bikelight since 2020 and i am still using it on my gravel with no problem. I dont even clean it.

Ok naman sir. Wala pa pong problema so far. Yung sa charging timr mga 1hr and 30mins. Sa duration, deoende sa pag gamit. Sakin before was 1 week more or less. Every afternoon nag bbike ng 2hrs.
