In all fairness, tho. ALEXIS is a Lawyer. Curiosity is in her very nature, and why she is so good at it. More importantly, She Is A MOTHER. She sees a fractured family down the road, and she will be called on to try and help prevent that. To this end, she needs all of the Ammunition (in the form of Information) she can get. Preventing Formal (and Public) legal proceedings, pitting One Daughter Against Another (with her Grandchild in the Balance) is her ultimate goal here. She is not in an enviable position, but I think she is up to the challenge. (Hopefully without relapsing, as everything she holds m Most Dear (her Family) is in potential danger of imploding right before her eyes.
