I'll tell you more than one thing I love about this song and give your reaction a 👍 before I even watch it: 1 you found it! it's clearly the same video, not just because I recognize the video itself, but the title is identical, which rarely happens with different videos and never happens to different videos of the same live performance. obviously I copied the link wrong; 2 like most of my favorite Samantha Fish videos, it's live. She makes excellent studio versions and official videos like the fine song you picked for ROCKER CHIC DAY, but I'll never forget the first video, though I can't remember what song it was, maybe a Stones song, but one of my friends on another platform was livestreaming a concert years ago, and I'm like WHO IS THAT!?! She can SHREAD! and of course the friends watching are like Yeah that's Samantha Fish. She's awesome! and I've been hooked ever since; 3 don't get me started on what she's wearing. ROCKER CHIC to the MAX! nuff said; 4 and now you're sharing it with more folks who either know her and are happy like me she's finally beginning to get long overdue and richly deserved recognition last year, with a nomination for a Grammy for Best Contemporary Blues Album for Death Wish Blues with Jesse Dayton, and opening for the Stones final gig of their American tour in her home state of Missouri; or if they don't know her and like me are like WHO IS THAT!?! She can SHREAD!!! OK now I'm hungry but I think I'll watch your reaction, IDK what I wanna eat yet anyway.

Seen Samantha live twice at blues fest. She put on a great show each time.damn good blues rock guitarist.

OK I ate now after I watched your great reaction the first time, waited to go shopping so I could go with my daughter and grandson, came home and made a big thick sandwich and thought to myself I shoulda bought lettuce and tomatoes, and watched it again while I ate it thinking, you really appreciate songwriting more than I do. Bulletproof is Samantha Fish's own original song and yes the lyrics are powerfully emotional. Sometimes I'm listening to somebody who really rocks like Samantha and I'm just bangin' my head🤟🥳✌🧔‍♀🤘🤪🙃🤙🖖👽 Thank you for a great reaction to a great performance. Already went to the original video and added it to Tazzz N Philly's ROCKER CHIC DAY part 2 playlist, now I'll slot it in where it goes along with fixing some other playlists that had videos removed. Hi Tazzz, I would like to draw your attention to a detail that you briefly described, with, and I quote: "I like it, ... how she takes control of her musical instrument." I don't know if you know this instrument, it is a four-string cigar box guitar, as was often used in Delta Blues. Often in its basic form as a three-string plucked instrument, self-built by musicians who couldn't afford a guitar. Samantha Fish uses professional customer instruments, I once heard of Del Puckett. Due to the rudimentary construction and materials, it provides the rough sound and is suitable for percussive playing. For the reasons described, it is particularly suitable for slide use. Samantha Fish combines slide techniques with powerful attacks and effect-heavy playing to create the unmistakable, powerful sound that can be heard here. By the way, Samantha Fish made her breakthrough when she was under contract with the German label Ruf. Her first solo album was released over 10 years ago and she toured with Ruf Records Blues Caravan with Cassie Taylor and Dani Wilde. Why am I mentioning this? This resulted in a studio album and a live album called "Girls With Guitars". Worth a listen!
