Enjoying your work sir. Keep the videos coming. I'm working on a 67 as well. Just starting to dig into some really bad metal work that was done by a shop I had originally planned to do the build. But the work was worse than terrible. I had to pull it out of there before it was beyond the point of no return. Now I have no real factory reference points. Any chance you could share what your measurements are between the cowl shoulders up near the firewall? And also the measurement between the inside of the inner panel of the kick plate area just before the door edge? I want to brace up my car before cutting away some material. But don't want spacing to be too far off. Thanks for any info you're willing to share.

Thanks for these videos! Seeing the structure of the inner and outer rockers and the approach you took gives me hope. I need to replace the inner rocker and that cowl brace/extension (I think you called that the flange?). I'm hoping to do that without removing the outer rocker which is in good shape. Based on your plan for the left side, it sounds like it should be do-able.

Yeah - you bet. The outer has all the tie-ins to the structure. The inner basically connects the outer to the floor.

Thanks for the video's, I have a convertible 67 that will need both rockers, complete floor, frame rails. and I also will be using DSE front subframe. I hadn't quite decided on the rear suspension yet but like you I have a 12 bolt I'd like to keep and I'll put in a Tremac 5 speed, leaning towards a LS-1 or 2 but really think a 383 FI 400 HP would be plenty for a canyon carver driving through the mountains. I was planning on using my Rotisserie after reinforce the body structure. What are your thoughts of using a dolly or rotisserie? I've used it for just doing body work nothing this major.

Hi, Happy to share in the process. Once I finish the drivers side rocker I’m pretty sure I’m going to put 2 new rails on my frame jig and leave the shell of the car including the firewall frame mounts intact and then release the cross rails from the seat risers back on the new rails (inside the outer rails). Going to fab my floors, rear frame rails, wheel tubs, etc. and all the DSE work out of the car on that portion of the jig (easier access). When done I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to wheel it under the car and lower the body back down onto it. I like the idea of a rotisserie but I’ve been hesitant to get one until the car is more solid??? Once I’m at that point I’ll either build or buy one. Easier to finish the underside for sure! You on Instagram or one of the forums? I’d like to follow you and your build. - Ken
