It does really well in the deep stuff. Took it to Mammoth last year on a 30" dump. And that was a second year model before they redesigned. I'm going to Revelstoke this year so I upgraded to the 161. It is also a solid board on the groomers. Just eats it up!!!!!

Such a sick board!!!! Love my 157 and 161!!!!! Epic pow board and carves up the groomers!!!!!!

Do you feel the 157 can handle deeper powder pretty good w/it being set back?
