Thanks for the video. I'm thinking of installing an Asco Sirai pressurestat im Oscar 2. So, basically you cut the original wires, put new cable lugs with a grimping tool and then plug the lugs in the Sirai pressurestat?

Only because of your video did I think to check if my pstat line was full of water when it wasn't turning off heating element and machine would shut off so to temp safety switch. $0 fix. Guess I have to purge it every few years. Thanks!

Shouldn't have to, as long as the water level is set correctly and you clean the water level sensor every 6-12 month

Thank you for your video. Do you know what the boiler is made out of? I can't tell if its coper that has been plated or if its something like aluminum or stainless steel.

It is made of copper. After a few years, the color of copper turns greyish or greenish but it is copper.

Sure but maybe not so great for steaming

Remember not all the time the pressure safety valve has to be replaced after it discharges, sometimes it is its normal operation especially when the pressure it's beyond 2 bars. Sometimes try just to adjust the pressure switch or replace it

It should have minimal effect on the brew pressure because the pressurestat only allows a narrow range of pressure variation (0.5 to 1.2 bars) in the boiler.

The level probe stick will not tighten even after I screw the bolt, why is it? Yours seem to stabilize at any height that you like

How do you remove those cables and wires attached to the pressure stat I just can’t get them off and I’m pulling very hard

oh by the way i got the cables off but now i cant twist off the pressure stat it seems like its seized or something? ive applied so much force that i actually broke the old pressure stat. how do i remove it is it supposed to easily twist off? i've tried evreything...@@coastcafeequipment

Ehm, yes it's the valve. Because half of it are missing.

Think you’ve got it the wrong way around. It’s your anti vacuum valve that’s leaking. The one with the pin is the safety valve.
